Psuedo Friendship

The way things were happening in Mohali as far as the treatment of visitors from Pakistan is concerned, one would think that it indeed is great friendship. Cricket match was taken as match and not as war. A friendly atmosphere could be felt between the two nations. Now, Pakistan's President is also expected to visit India to watch a match. The question is, is this "true" friendship or "psuedo" friendship. It may be worthwhile to note that attempts have been made earlier to talk about the problems and also one of Pakistan's former Presidents had come to India to watch a cricket match. But, afterwards there was bitterness in the relations again giving birth to various problems including the Kargil war.

As long as the issues are resolved between the countries, it is almost certain that relations will become sore again. Just one bad incident can make things sore. So, the reason why one should be ga-ga about friendship is beyond comprehension.
